Hi Mr Duffield, I have a strange request and couldn't find any other way to contact you, but I was hoping you might help me track down something that I'm almost certain you wrote. I recall reading somewhere an article on Waggoner's "Christ and His Righteousness" regarding the quote that says, "We know that Christ "proceeded forth and came from God" (John 8:42), but it was so far back in the ages of eternity as to be far beyond the grasp of the mind of man." I recall reading an article or in a book that EGW corrected Waggoner on this understanding, and that Waggoner then repented of it and never mentioned it again. Am I mistaken in thinking that this was something you wrote, and if I'm not, could you maybe point out to me where it's written? I've been looking for it all morning and can't find it anywhere, and I'm starting to wonder if maybe I imagined it! If you get this message, thanks in advance.

After reading the book, I am still wondering just what the 1888 message was. The book told me what it wasn't, but not what it was. Sounds like LGT.
